Yet another crappy arcade machine to add to my collection. Another addicting Yu Suzuki game. Worship Yu Suzuki, or die, he is god. Yeah, I remember spending $10 in one sitting on a $.25 machine (mainly because I suck, but I was playing for quite a while). Great music, addicting gameplay, and the machine moves! It moves damn it! Do you know how cool that is? Of course, one version of another Yu Suzuki game, afterburner, moves 360 degrees, and of course there is hang on. I need to get this game for genesis now that I have one (and the controls in the shenmue version suck).

flamezw you speak the truth Yu Suzuki is a god in the world of racers and arcade games. Hang-On,OutRun,Daytona USA,Sega Rally,Enduro Racer,Power Drift,After Burner,Virtua Fighter...face it Sega was king of the 90s arcades, the only competition was Street Fighter II and Chase H.Q.

This pixel work is as mad as the original game was. Man, I really sucked at that game. =P (Razz)

Nice job!

Heh, Space Harrier is anything but slow. I am good enough to get past the first 5 or so levels without dieing, but the later ones are insane. I like really forceful games like this. It's like outrun, you have to go as fast as you can or else you won't finish in time. In this one, things keep coming at you and you have no choice but to face them.

Same with me... though being broke almost trained me to play arcades very carefully and skillfully. I didn't have too much money to spend on "continues" and so forth so I was stuck... trying to be really carefull and taking things slow (which led to more losses: it was a lose/lose situation for me!).

Another great rendition.

Thumbs Up
